The First Responder Portal

While Rhode Island's first responders work to save lives and ensure the safety of the public, Stonewall assisted the state with the build of the COVID-19 First Responder Portal. This portal allows responders to evaluate addresses and determine if PPE is needed to respond to an address of a COVID-19 positive case.

First responders and law enforcement can use the portal to search addresses calling for service to see the positive or negative presence of COVID-19 recorded in the building. This information gives essential workers the ability to know when to wear adequate PPE when approaching the situation.

Both the Rhode Island Department of Public Safety and Department of Health utilize the First Responder Portal because of the reporting, analytics, security, and accessibility that help keep the state and public safe.

Reporting and Analytics

Users and administrators have the ability to customize reports based on past queries run in the system. These reports provide visibility into all queries run in the system, queries searched by any specific user, and queries by agency.

The report details highlight date, time of day, address, recorded result of COVID-19 exposure in that location, and the user performing the search.

Not only is this critical data intended to help limit any chance of exposure when servicing a positive location, but this data provides visibility into the information that administrators need in order to keep teams safe when tracking possible exposures.

Security and Accessibility

The user and agency management systems developed in the First Responder Portal provide secure and authenticated access to all existing and new users.

All registration requests have the ability to be approved or denied based on the admin. User information collects identifiers that make it easier to track and identify those who have serviced a COVID-19 positive location.

The Reopening Essentials Suite

The first responder portal was developed within a suite of apps designed to provide critical data to help you and your teams safely navigate a COVID-19 world. These apps were designed for state facilities, first responders, and the service industry to provide a streamlined, accessible, and secure way to manage public services while keeping everyone safe.
